⏳ Countdown Timer
Set a target date and time — the countdown updates live.
Set a date above to begin.
How the live countdown works
Once you pick a target date and time, the timer compares it against your device's current clock every second and displays the remaining time broken into days, hours, minutes, and seconds. Everything updates instantly in your browser — there's no page reload and no server round-trip, so the numbers stay perfectly in sync with real time.
Getting an accurate countdown
- The target time uses your device's local timezone, so double-check the timezone if you're counting down to an event in a different region.
- For all-day events (like a birthday or holiday), setting the time to midnight (00:00) gives a countdown to the very start of that day.
- If the target moment has already passed, the tool will tell you the countdown is complete rather than showing a negative time.
Example: Counting down to December 25, 2026, 00:00 from today (September 24, 2026) shows roughly 92 days remaining, refreshing every second down to the exact hour, minute, and second.
